Starting with a trip out in the misty rain to the local town's display, to the music of Disney; as were the ones up at Crewe too. I saw a video clip of these; so actually saw more than the local ones.
They were really good up North. Ours were a bang, fizzling out due to the rain getting in the workings ... although soon sparkled back into life ... finishing the display with a flourish ...

On the weekend, an impromptu trip to see what used to be our very local village fireworks before we moved. This happened when my daughter completely surprised me and appeared at my door ... letting me think she was still up North.
We traveled by train; walking to the farm via the ford, to see these glorious fireworks set to the backdrop of the castle ruins, across the river from the field. As always a spectacular spectacle of light sparkles. and magical memories made, to a very appreciative audience as always.
With a raffle ... mulled wine and hot dogs ... done and supported by the locality ...
